Today marked their first meeting after many days apart.
Now,with the spacious dressing room occupied only by the two of them,Mandy felt a twinge of unease recalling their previous discord.She nervously fiddled with her fingers,pretending everything was normal.
“Im sorry.”Draco’s gentle voice suddenly broke the silence.
Caught off guard,Mandy looked at Draco,her face etched with confusion.”Why are you apologizing out of the blue?”
Draco held her gaze and expressed his remorse. “I misunderstood your intentions previously.I apologize for how I acted last time.”
Mandy was taken aback and flustered by Draco’s unexpected apology.She waved her hands dismissively and stammered,”It’s…It’s okay…I didn’t dwell on it.”
Although Draco often appeared aloof and unemotional,he carried a fierce pride that seldom allowed him to bow or apologize easily.
The notion that Draco would express his regret so openly and admit his error had never crossed Mandy’s mind.
Draco responded with a light smile and commended her generously,”You’ve matured significantly and your skills have greatly improved since we last met.Your designs are truly impressive,and I hope you continue to embrace and develop your unique style.”
The flush of pleasure that spread across Mandy’s cheeks at Draco’s compliments revealed her delight.Her excitement was such that she felt like dancing right there and then.However,her response was marked by modesty.”Not at all.I’m fully aware I have a lot to learn.I’ll strive to learn more from experienced peerslike your,Mr.Wesley.”
After receiving praises and affirmation from Draco for the first time,Mandy’s eyes were gleaming with joy as she gazed at the handsome man before her. She hoped for him to say a few more complimentary words as it would make her happier than winning against Natalie.
However,Draco,who never cared for romantic relationships,naturally did not understand Mandy’s feelings and expectations.”You have great talent. Long as you can focus on improving yourself and give it time,you will achieve great things in the fashion industry.”
Draco’s calm and polite attitude dimmed the light in Mandy’s eyes once again.
What an insensitive man!He had no clue of what went on in a woman’s mind!
Mandy was expecting him to play along and say that she was excellent and that soon she might be able to match him.However,he only gave her uninteresting words of encouragement.
While silently complaining in her heart,Mandy lowered her head to hide her disappointment and nodded.”Thank you,Mr.Wesley.I will continue to work hard.”
Draco nodded in reply.He was always reticent and indifferent,and now that the misunderstanding was cleared up,he wouldn’t speak more than he needed to.
His silence only disheartened Mandy even more. She realized that her expectations were merely her wishful thinking and nothing more.Draco was only interested in her work.1
At that moment,someone came out of the fitting room.
Draco and Mandy turned towards the fitting room, and when they saw Brandon come out,their eyes lit up with wonder.
The tall and handsome Brandon wore a fantastically unique black suit,accentuating his lean yet muscular figure.
The pitch-black color brought out his cold and stern eyes.His chiseled features complemented the suit’s design perfectly so that it did not overshadow him and maintained its own aesthetics.
Brandon just stood there,glancing at the somewhat stunned pair;his noble and cold demeanor was innate,commanding attention with a natural sense of elegance and poise.
Although Draco’s designs were known to be superior and Mandy had high opinions of her designs,they had to admit that the suit Natalie designed for Brandon was perfect for him. Everything about it was exceptional,enhancing his features while showcasing Natalie’s unique design style.
They marveled in their hearts,not only at the suit but also at Brandon’s model-like features.In their eyes,they jointly constituted Natalie’s perfect masterpiece.
“Natalie,you’ve made great progress,”Draco expressed his admiration.”The fashion industry is truly full of talented people.With an outstanding designer like you,I’m afraid I’ll be left behind soon.”
Shockingly,Mandy did not feel upset to hear that praise.Instead,she silently gazed at Brandon’s suit while thinking of the gap between her and Natalie’s design skills.
Natalie smiled and said,”Mr.Wesley,I’m flattered.” Draco smiled back and replied,”Alright,since everything is ready,you can take your …”
Glancing at Brandon,his smile deepened.”Take your model and get ready backstage two minutes earlier to avoid any mishaps.”
Natalie nodded.”Thank you for your reminder,Mr. Wesley.But don’t worry.I am fully aware of the fashion show process.”
When Natalie worked at W Marks Studio,she participated in the Iridescent Show.At that time, Draco did not attend the show,and she had arranged everything single-handedly,so she was already familiar with the process of fashion show. Natalie tilted her head,looking at Brandon,and smiled,reaching out her hand. “Let’s go, handsome.”
Brandon took Natalie’s hand but stared deep into her eyes without moving an inch.
Puzzled by his reaction,she asked,”What’s the matter?’
Brandon’s lips curved slightly as he whispered in Natalie’s ear,”Do you still remember what you promised?’

However,Brandon continued,”Natalie,will you go back on your word?”
The redness spread from Natalie’s cheeks to her ears when she felt Brandon’s passionate gaze.
Natalie nodded coyly before pulling Brandon’s hand and urging,”Let’s go,we’re running out of time!” Brandon’s mood uplifted upon seeing how flustered and sheepish Natalie was.All the sour feelings inside him about Draco’s intimate interaction with Natalie slowly faded away.
“Then let’s go,”Brandon said with a light chuckle and let Natalie lead the way.
His soft laughter,with his warm breath,made her body’s temperature rise,and she involuntarily thought of what happened in the fitting room moments ago.
When they entered the fitting room,Natalie quickly shut the door.
Upon hearing the sound,Brandon looked at her with a mischievous smile.”Miss White,there are so many people outside.Isn’t it inappropriate for you to follow me here?”he asked teasingly.
Natalie glared at him.”Stop fooling around and change your clothes already!”While speaking,she began unbuttoning his shirt.
Brandon pressed her little hands to his chest and asked,”In such a hurry?But I like it when you make the first move.”
His teasing warmed Natalie’s face,and her cheeks turned pink.She continued working on his clothes and soon removed his jacket.
Seeing Natalie’s feigned calmness and composure, Brandon’s playful nature aroused.He looked down at his lower body,his expression sly.”Do you want to help takeoff my pants as well?”he questioned.
Natalie glared at him,pinched his waist,and said irritably,”Do it yourself!”
“Oh…”Brandon smiled slyly.”Alright,Ill do it.”
“Brandon!”Natalie stamped on his foot angrily.
Seeing that she was about to get really mad at him, he raised his hands in surrender.”Okay,okay,I won’t fool around anymore.”
Natalie snorted,”Just hurry up.”
Brandon hooked his thin lips,his eyes glistening with just a hint of seduction as he slowly loosened his belt.
The clicking sound of the buckle echoed in the fitting room,making Natalie restless and blush harder as if she had a fever.
Brandon’s soft laughter,combined with the sound of his clothes falling off,created an extremely enticing atmosphere.”Didn’t you come here to help me change?Why are you feeling shy now?” he asked.
Natalie turned away,feeling uneasy,kicked him lightly,and said,”If you keep acting like that,welll run out of time.’
Brandon knew they were short on time,so he reluctantly gave up on teasing her and put on his suit for the show
