As Lexi walked into the studio,her body froze with fear as she laid eyes on the seven or eight intimidating bodyguards dressed in black who stood inside.

Upon seeing him,Lexi let out deep a sigh of relief.
She placed a hand on her racing heart,still feeling a lingering sense of fear.Taking a quick glance at the menacing bodyguards before averting her gaze,she leaned closer to Sean and whispered, “Why did you hire so many bodyguards?”
Sean crossed his arms,a proud expression on his face as he explained the situation,”Mrs.Larson is going to be in a fashion show,you see,so for her safety,Boss has asked me to hire these bodyguards.Theyre quite impressive,aren’t they? Just by standing there,no one would dare to disturb her.”
Lexi’s lips twitched as she replied,”Yeah…They do look pretty cool.”
Not only would others be too scared to disturb Natalie,but Lexi herself also wouldn’t dare approach her either with just one look at those intimidating bodyguards!

Better sooner than later,Lexi rushed out to search for Natalie.

She looked over cautiously and saw Brandon glaring at her,unmoving.

Lexi trembled under his gaze and groaned to herself.She froze on the spot and couldn’t find the courage to speak.
Natalie noticed Lexi’s sudden silence and furrowed her brows in confusion.”What’s the matter?Don’t you have something urgent to report?”she asked. Lexi glanced at Brandon cautiously.
Natalie followed her gaze and saw Brandon’s cold expression.”Don’t scare my assistant like that,” she said to Brandon with a wry smile.
Brandon’s gaze softened as he looked at Natalie and gave her a gentle smile.”Go ahead and report,” he said to Lexi as he lowered his head and continued working on his laptop.
Lexi stole a glance at Brandon and tried to calm herself down.She couldn’t help but think that Brandon’s aura was too powerful.Only Natalie could stay composed before him.
“Alright,tell me what happened.Why are you in such a hurry?”Natalie asked as she turned her attention back to Lexi.
Lexi walked steadily over to Natalie and handed her phone to Natalie. She showed Natalie the announcement and said,”Mandy had posted that she is participating in the fashion show as well.I believe she is a strong opponent,so l thought you ought to know beforehand,to be mentally prepared.’
Natalie studied the announcement.It contented a photo which showed Mandy wearing a professional suit and delicate makeup.Her caption sounded confident nll1 expressed her determination to shine in the fashion show.
“This is just a marketing tactic,nothing to be surprised about,”Natalie said calmly as she handed the phone back to Lexi.
However,Lexi frowned and warned,”But she seems confident.Perhaps she has some tricks up her sleeve.We ought to be careful!”
Natalie smiled and replied nonchalantly,”Mandy has always been the one to create hype things up before a fashion show.She is usually flamboyant and high-profile,so I’ve already expected her to do some publicity before the competition.”
She leaned back in her chair and relaxed slightly before continuing,”As far as I know,Mandy has been quietly preparing for this fashion show. Perhaps she had finally created a piece of work that she’s satisfied with and is confident that it will win.”
Lexi became more anxious after hearing Natalie’s words.”You mean she is provoking us?Is she intentionally telling us she is confident in winning with this announcement?”she asked.
Natalie smiled and shook her head. “When designers are confident,it’s common industry practice to be high-profile before a show.She isn’t intentionally targeting us,”she explained patiently. Lexi still appeared confused.
Although she had been working in the studio for some time and had been very diligent in her work, she was not a professional designer.Hence,she still did not fully understand the ins and outs of the design industry.Moreover,she had a bias against
