Chapter 7 – I Was Never Yours, Mr. Billionaire

Chapter 7: The Revenge

She was swept out of the door along with her mother. No one knew her identity, and even Gim, who had such an intimate relation with her, just regarded her as an orphan wretch who was hunted down by her enemies.

“I heard about the news.”

The man sighed. “Maybe we could come for Master. Maybe he will welcome you with his arms open.”

However, his words irritated her.

“Never!”

Vichy was agitated. Her voice was a lot harsh than just now. “I won’t seek a hypocrite’s help, maybe, he would rather celebrate my death.”

The first page of the newspaper on the table was the picture of an eminent politician’s impassioned speech.

Vichy glanced at the newspaper, smashed it, squeezed it into a paper ball and threw it into the trash can. Then, she calmed down.

After so long, she still had a grudge against her so-called father. Even just reading reports about him in the news, she was so anxious to tear him apart. He should be buried with her mother instead of being alive. She even didn’t mind paying the murder with her own life.

The man knew that he couldn’t persuade her. So, he just sighed and said: “What are you calling me for, Your Grace?”

Vichy was independent and pride. She never summoned him unless there was a knotty problem that cannot be solved on her own.

“Find me some agents to acquire the projects newly developed by the House of Lynn.”

Her voice was dull, but with a little vibrato in it.

She crouched in the sofa. Her hands pressed against the abdomen. She lay sideways with her face facing the sofa. The person could not see the expression on her face.

He couldn’t distinguish if there was an abnormality in her voice as well.

“And then?”

The man was incomprehensive. But he was used to obey her instructions. So he continued to inquiry her details despite his own concerns.

“Not only the new project of the House of Lynn, Please track down all the projects under Sherly’s name. Try your best to force down the prices. Then, purchased them at the lowest possible price.”

Her voice was on the decrease.

After hearing all the instructions, the man asked: “How about the funding…?”

Ever since the exile, Her Grace was short of assets and funds.

Fortunately, she had found a powerful spouse who was worthy of her once. But it turned out that he was not a good match.

Thinking of it, the man even lamented and glanced at her .He didn’t know when her suffering would draw to a close.

“Funds i own are enough for it, just go and finish the job.”

Vichy still didn’t turn back, she tried to keep her voice as calm as possible.

He couldn’t see that she pinched herself with sharp nails to stifle her trauma.

Sharp pain rushed up from her abdomen wave after wave. It hurt hundreds and thousands of times more than the laparotomy. As if her guts twisted and writhed, but she bit her lower lips in silent.

“You mean your remaining assets?”

The man couldn’t help but said with shock: “That is the late lady’s legacy. We use it up just to fight against the House of L, is it worth?”

She didn’t answer.

Vichy’s body was stuck on the sofa, and some self-deprecating curled her lips.

Was it worth?

Of course. The House of Lynn was not only responsible for intervention and conspiracy, but also responsible for the murder of her two children. How could she put aside the revenge. She wished to eat Sherly alive. She would drain off Sherly’s blood and tear her limb to limb.

Two unborn children. So tiny and so helpless. How cold blood Sherly and Gim were!

Her children should be treated with mercy. But no one showed any mercy to them.

The man failed to get a response. But he could understand her unspoken words according to her silent gesture.

He sighed and went out.

She was alone in the room.

Everything had a price tag attached on.

The efficiency of doing things at great expense indeed worked well.

It was only half a day later when news broke out from the House of L. Their stock plummeted, and several IPO of them were exposed as NPA. As a result, the House of L was forced to abandon these troubled companies.

And Sherly, who was famous for her moral integrity, who established her public image as a innocent maiden, was disclosed as a flirtatious chicken according to some secretly taken pictures. She displayed slutty behaviors in those pictures.

Those pictures only showed the profile of her, but that’s enough.

Such a scandal wouldn’t have significant influence generally. Surely, her public image was tarnished, but, so what? Everyone knew the ugly truth of the upper ten. No one would fuss about it.

However, as for Sherly, it’s another story.

Sherly had been highlighted by the spotlights since she was officially accepted as Gim’s bride-to-be. She attracted huge attention just like a super-star in vogue.

Whether those pictures were true or not? It made no difference. A PR disaster had been implemented successfully.

And the initiator Vichy was still curled up on the sofa. Even she was so tired, she still struggled to lift her body up and deleted a message in which the progress was reported.

She shut her heavy eyelids and leaned against the sofa. She was burning with fever.

Her lips were so dry that almost crack. Fansei forced herself to raise one of her hands for several times. But she was so weak that she finally gave up.

The TV was still on. News flashed on screen one after another. She heard a familiar voice, vague but familiar figure of a middle-aged man appeared in the television.

He seemed solemn and grave. He even got a pretty tie knot. He was harangued on national foreign diplomatic issues up-to-date.

He was a prestigious politician with amazing skill and ability.

She faded in and be almost out of consciousness. The thunder crashed overhead. The storm was coming. She laughed at herself.

Who would have believed that? A politician placed in a high rack would be bind to an orphan wretch by blood relation. Yes, he was the natural father of her.

She remembered vaguely she was cast out of her original family in a storm like today.

She was almost fallen into stupefaction.

The door busted open. Cold wind was blown. She shivered with cold.

A man strode inside. A manic storm followed him, mixed with thunder and lightning. Darkness veiled his expression. His imposing manner as sharp as cold blade.

Her jaw was suddenly pinched, and she let out an involuntary groan of pain.

The sudden coldness neutralized heat of her body, and she shivered uncontrollably. Her mind was all in a whirl. She didn’t recognize the intruder until another streak of lightning illuminated his face.

It was Gim.

It was not at all surprising. Because this place was so remote that no one knew excepting for him.

“Here you are.”

Vichy, as if she had already anticipated, curled her lips. She greeted cynically.

Her voice was so weak that was drowned out by the storm outside.

“You didn’t do it, didn’t you? Did you strike the House of L? “

Gim’s voice was cold and heavy. It seemed that he was in a depressive mood. He heckled.

Every word was gloomy and cold, like ice water streamed in her bones, even colder than the wind outside. The cold current gushed from his fingers, permeating her chin, spreading to her whole body.

The headache seemed to be getting a little more boisterous.

“Are you here to question me?”

Vichy had a self-deprecating laugh.

Every word hardly fought their way out of her lips. Her jaw was pinched. It was difficult to talk.

That icy hand move by his strength. The knuckle was tightened as if the angry was accumulated. Suddenly, that hand loosened her jaw and squeezed her neck directly with great force.

Her neck held in the slightly harsh palm was so slender that it would be snap with a little force.

Her breathing became more rapid, the air became thinner, and there was certain pain in the chest because of lack of oxygen.

Vichy unconsciously raised her neck. Her expression was more uncomfortable than before, but she just clenched her fists instead of struggling. She slowly closed her eyes and gradually slid into unconsciousness.

The force on her neck increased instead of weakening. Before falling to unconsciousness completely, she opened her eyes with great effort and glanced at the man in front of her. She gave a self-mockery smile to herself.

Well, it turned out that, her entire life was probably a joke. Several years ago, her natural father exiled her. Now the man to whom she had devoted was about to murder her with cold-blood.

It seemed that he was murmuring to her. But wind and rain drowned it all.

What she signed with emotion was this stormy night rather than his ungrateful.

Again, it’s such a thundery night, it’s really cold.

……

“She wandered about in no time after surgery. Does she want to destroy herself?”

“In case there were sequelae caused by improper postoperative care, she would never bear another child…”

The voices came to a sudden stop.

There was a buzz all around her ears.

Vichy’s fingers moved. She propped up, looking around. She came to her sense in a daze when she saw the drab white and smelt the disinfectant…

She was in a hospital.

The second before the coma, she even thought she was dead.

After all, eyes of Gim were too cold and dark, like the infinite abyss. It seemed they would swallow her in any time.

The sound of rage that she heard moments ago must be the doctor in front of her.

She frowned and looked over there, the doctor’s words clearly unfinished.

She didn’t know what’s going on, but the doctor’s face turned red and eventually got a little angry. The doctor shrugged her shoulders and got out.

There were only her and the man standing with his back to her at the window.

It was now clear to her who he was, according to the slender figure and the irresistible momentum.

She dropped her eyes and smiled. “I thought you were going to kill me.”

Her dry and hoarse voice spread from her throat.

The man who had just stood with his back to her, turned around at the sound, and the only expression between his eyes and his brow was gruesome and sinister.

The harsh warmth of the sun was just like the cold light that pierced the marrow.

“Indeed I wanted to kill you.”Gim walked over to her bed and looked down at her. Every word was bitter and mean. ” Did you strike the House of L? “

The same question she heard when she lay in a coma.

He must care about the situation of House of L very much.

After all, his childhood sweetheart was the victim.

“You have investigated, haven’t you?”Vichy didn’t respond flatly, but looked at him.
