“Are you waiting for her here, or are you going to the audience to watch the game?” Matthew asked Alicia.
“I’ll just sit here and wait for her. If anything happens, I’ll be the first to know. I can still watch the game from here.”
The game began 20 minutes later. The huge screen displayed a countdown clock, which made the audience tense. Everyone enthusiastically cheered as Team Wolf came on stage and became extremely quiet after the game began. Some of them were so tense that they even nearly forgot to breathe.
Tammy started the game as Team Wolf’s first player. Meanwhile, Matthew felt nervous for the first time in his life as if he were the one playing the game. From time to time, Matthew checked his phone. And when he called his parents for the sixth time, they still didn’t answer the call.

“This little girl with a gun is Tammy’s role in the game. The role looks a lot like her, right? This character is designed based on Tammy’s appearance. She’s an impressive sniper,” Matthew elaborated, helping Anna and Wayne get to know the game better.
After seeing the score on the big screen, Matthew realized he had missed a thrilling game. Then he said to Anna, “Look at that score, Mom. The red numbers represent Tammy’s team, while the green numbers represent their competitor. Tammy’s team won three games and lost one. So, it means that…”
“Are they going to be champions?” Anna asked excitedly.
“If nothing unexpected happens, they will,” Matthew said.
“What?” Anna became tense again.

“Ah! You scared the hell out of me. I hope there won’t be any accidents.” With that, Anna held Matthew’s arm nervously.
“My daughter is definitely going to be a champion!” Wayne said, smiling. Yet, Anna didn’t even pay attention to what he was saying because she was very focused on the match.
Soon, the race was coming to an end. Even if Team Wolf lost the final game, Team Wolf would still be the year’s champions. As they expected, Team Wolf defeated their opponents 4-1.
Seeing the result, people started to scream and cheer. And at the same time, Martin yelled excitedly, “Tammy Rules!”
Anna was almost in tears as she excitedly hugged Wayne and Matthew. She said in excitement, “Tammy has won the world championship! She’s so brilliant!”
“It was her team that won the world championship.” Matthew corrected.
“I don’t care. Tammy’s a champion!!!”
After the game was over, the lights in the hall lit up. And the host invited the two teams to the stage after congratulating the winners.

She and her assistant said they wished to promote my company’s new energy vehicle. ‘Wait until you get a world championship,’ That’s what I told them back then.
