Armand hastily denied, “No. I noticed that she was not in a good mood, so I wondered if she had come across something unhappy in the store.”
“No,” Loredana said.
“Oh, alright. I’ll hang up now.”
Loredana merely said, “Hum”, and hung up the phone.
Cormac was close to her and heard her talk with Armand. Then he didn’t ask her anything. He put his arm around her, “Just leave everything to me.” Loredana nodded.
She still didn’t think Maxina should have remarried Garrett.
The reason Maxina suddenly wanted to remarry Garrett must be because of what Garrett had threatened and done to her. In a word, Maxina was definitely reluctant to remarry Garrett. Loredana came to the Flores family today to ask Garrett why.
“Let’s go.” Cormac’s arms were wrapped around Loredana as he walked across the paving stones and walked to the front of the villa.
Garrett had sold the villa before. And he bought it back later.
It was still the Flores family’s villa.
Click.
They rang the doorbell.
There were maids in the villa. And it was the maid who opened the door. Since the maid was new here, she didn’t know Loredana and Cormac, so she asked, “Who are you looking for?” Loredana looked into the villa to see Maxina and Garrett watching TV in the living room. And there were fruits on the table. They looked like a happy and loving couple.
“Who is it?” Garrett looked at the door. When he saw Loredana and Cormac, he stood up from the couch and smiled, “Lola, you are back home.”
He scolded the maid, “What’s going on? Why don’t you let them in?”
The maid bowed her head and stepped aside.
Garrett smiled flatteringly, “Mr. Mendelsohn, I’m sorry. She is new here, so she doesn’t know you.”
The previous maids at the villa had all been dismissed when the Flores family was in trouble at that time.
Cormac didn’t respond. If it weren’t for Loredana, he wouldn’t be here.
And he wouldn’t be dealing with someone like Garrett.
Garrett didn’t look embarrassed. He smiled as he said, “Come in.”
Loredana walked in.
Maxina’s heart tightened as she stood up.00000000
“Lola…” Maxina Lennon held both of her hands together since she felt a bit panicky inside. She didn’t expect Loredana Flores to come home.
Although Loredana didn’t say anything, she knew why Loredana came here today.
“Come and sit down,” On the side, Garrett Flores warmly greeted them.
Loredana sat down and glanced at Garrett, “If I didn’t marry Cormac Mendelsohn, would you still remarry my mother?”
The look on Garrett’s face instantly changed, but he quickly turned back to normal, “What are you talking about? Although your mom and I divorced before, we still have feelings for each other.” Loredana sneered, “Really?”
“Of course,” Garrett sat across from Loredana and pulled Maxina, who was standing, over as he sat down. He let her sit beside him.
“If you don’t believe me, you can ask your mother.”
Loredana looked toward Maxina.
Maxina looked at her daughter as she sat down next to Garrett, “I still have feelings for your dad…”
“Did you forget how he treated you before? Did you forget how Jeremy died?” Loredana was angry. How could she actually say that she still had feelings for her now when he hurt her like that before? Was it because her pain wasn’t engraved deep enough for her?
Did she want to do it all again?
Cormac held her trembling hands from agitation.
Garrett was a little confused as he listened to them on the side, “Who is Jeremy?”
Loredana sneered, “Why? Did she not tell you about it…”
“Lola!” Maxina suddenly stood up and intentionally interrupted Loredana. She scolded in a deep voice, “Can’t you see that I’m doing well? The reason why I remarried your dad was because I still love him. It’s that simple!”
She wanted to only let Garrett know in his deathbed that he had a son before to make him suffer and regret!
Maxina loudly shouted at Loredana.
Yet, she felt so agitated now just because of Garrett.
Her lips slightly quivered, “Are you seriously and genuinely remarrying him?”
“Yes, I’m serious!” Maxina didn’t dare look Loredana’ pain-filled eyes.
“Okay, okay, okay. I’ll do as you wish!” Loredana stood up, “Just pretend that I never came here today.”
After she spoke, she quickly walked out of the villa. Cormac followed after her.
Maxina was still worried for her, so she followed them out.
She knew that she had really hurt Loredana after today.
She must definitely be really hurt at this moment.
“I think she needs to calm down,” Cormac looked at Maxina.
Maxina stood still and lowered her eyes. She felt guilty and couldn’t look at anyone in the eye, “I’ll have to ask you to take care of her from now on.” “She’s my wife, so of course, I won’t let her feel sad,” His voice was very deep and low, “You can tell me if you have any difficulties. I can help you…’
“I don’t have any difficulties,” Maxina still wouldn’t say anything.
Nobody could help her since Maxina wasn’t willing to say anything.
Up until now, Cormac still thought that Maxina must have her own motive in doing so. She just didn’t say it.

After Cormac glanced at her, he turned around and got into the car. Loredana leaned on the window and didn’t say a word. It looked like she took a huge blow. She thought that things could still turn around, but Maxina let her know that she was thinking of the impossible.
This couldn’t be changed.
