“If I keep crying, you won’t get what you want, right?” She paused for a brief moment and sneered,”Besides,you’ll be sent away tomorrow morning. I don’t suppose you have that much time, do you?” Audrey’s smug expression wavered. She stared daggers at Natalie and snickered, “You’re not as stupid as I thought. Well, you’re right. I don’t have much time. But just so you know, I’m not here to harm you. In fact, it’s the contrary. I’m here to help you.”
Natalie raised an eyebrow.”Oh? You? Here to help me?” A sly grin spread across Audrey’s face, and she explained, “Now that you’ve found out you can’t have children, you’re scared, aren’t you? You’re scared Brandon will find another woman to bear his child and scared of losing the properties of the Larson family because you fail to produce an heir. Isn’t that right?”
And then what?Natalie asked sharply, her expression unchanged. “Stop beating around the bush. I’m not interested in hearing your bullshit.” Audrey did not seem annoyed,perhaps because she thought her goal was within her reach. “You’re trying to get close to Brandon, but your efforts were unacknowledged. If he hadn’t been ignoring you all this time, would you initiate this cooperation?”Natalie asked rhetorically She did not intend to waste any more time on this despicable woman.
Natalie was about to leave when her mind suddenly swirled. She became disorientated,and her legs felt weak. Unable to support herself, she fell back onto the couch.

This was the medicine bottle that Jeremy often used! That meant the person in bed wasn’t Natalie at all! After a brief moment of panic, Brandon quickly regained his composure. He quickly turned around and headed for the door.
Hearing footsteps gradually fading into the distance, Audrey’s heart tightened. She wondered if her intentions had been exposed. However,before the door closed, she heard Brandon say,”Wait for me here. I need to deal with something in the study.” Audrey let out a sigh of relief.
